⁴⁰The son of Jonathan:

Meribbaal,^[a] who was the father of Micah.

⁴¹The sons of Micah:

Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.^[b]

⁴²Ahaz was the father of Jarah,^[c] and Jarah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza,

1 Chronicles 9:42 tc So MT; some Hebrew mss and the LXX read “Jadah” (cf. NIV, NCV, NLT) while in 8:36 the name “Jehoaddah’ appears (cf. NAB).
